We stayed in the 2 bed lodge for my sister’s 60th birthday in ‘March 2025. We have visited the farm on numerous occasions for the fantastic farm rides and watched with great interest as the lodges were being built. The finished result is excellent. The lodges are set up on the hill with panoramic views of Bennachie and surrounding countryside. The lodges are beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a stay. Plenty of room for the 6 guests as well as room for others who came for the afternoon tea. The hot tub was our favourite spot sitting out under the stars enjoying a glass (or 2) of Prosecco. We brought our little westie dog along to visit and he even had a fully enclosed dog park to play in. Looking forward to returning with the horses for a horsey holiday. Thoroughly recommend a stay.

I visited Logie Newton Farm April 2024. I highly recommend visiting with your horses if you get the chance, on arrival we were greeted and guided to our parking space by Louise. After tacking up she explained the safety rules and gave us directions on the route, (though it was clearly signed). After a small section of quiet roadwork you hit the tracks, they are all well prepared and the views are amazing. After some very wet weather and numerous events cancelled I was surprised this group ride went ahead, but the going was great, the ground wasn’t heavy and allowed for some serious fast work on the long hills. Go if you get the opportunity!

The tracks are really well kept and great underfoot - just perfect for walk, trot and canter. Really great for hill fitness, too - my poor wee horsey was rather sweaty by the end of our hack but we loved it. There are miles and miles of grassy tracks to explore and you get great views of Bennachie and its fine summits from various angles. You might spot some deer, and who knows, the odd farmer going about his business! There's a chance to practice going through water, too, with a wee burn to cross although you can go over the bridge if you prefer. Absolutely brilliant for horses and riders, whether you fancy a gentle plod or a more energy-fuelled blast! Highly recommended! A beautiful setting with stunning views!

I’ve visited Logie Newton Farm a few times with my highland pony and would highly recommend it. Louise and her family are very friendly and helpful. Louise has her own highland ponies so she understands horsey things. The hacking is amazing and it’s in a lovely setting.
