The beauty and history of Logie Newton Farm

Your luxurious getaway on our farm

Located between Huntly, Turriff and Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, Logie Newton Farm cultivates a diverse range of crops annually, including high-quality spring malting barley. Our harvest is proudly supplied to the prestigious Glenlivet Distillery. Complementing our barley are fields of oilseed rape, winter barley for feed, and wheat.

Growing Green

Sustainability at Logie Newton

Farmer David champions eco-friendly initiatives and spearheaded sustainability efforts in Aberdeenshire’s farming community.

Since 2010, we've installed two 11kw wind turbines, followed by biomass boilers in 2013 and 2014. In 2024 we have implemented a microgrid system to further optimise energy usage, reaffirming our commitment to a greener future for our farm and the wider community.

PRESERVING HABITATS

Our guests can enjoy stunning hilltop vistas, pristine walking and horse riding trails, and an atmosphere perfect for star gazing and witnessing the Northern Lights due to minimal light pollution.
